MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse for a Long Term Care (LTC) assignment in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
About the Role
This is a travel nursing assignment with one of our top healthcare clients, requiring eighteen months of recent experience in a Long-Term Care setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide extended care to patients living with disabilities or chronic/progressive illnesses, including assistance with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, dressing).
- Record vital signs and administer medications.
- Assess changes in patient health status and perform various treatments.
- Complete assignments made by physicians and provide routine treatment.
- Ensure meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration for continuity of care among nursing staff, physicians, and the treatment team.
- Stay well-versed in a broad range of medical conditions encountered in long-term care.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN License.
- Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- BLS Certification.
- Eighteen months of recent experience in a Long-Term Care setting.
- Additional facility-specific requirements may apply.

- Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour day shifts
