About the role
Long-term care nurses provide extended care to patients living with disabilities or progressive/chronic illnesses, often working with the elderly and those needing assistance with activities of daily living. This role requires broad clinical knowledge to address a variety of health conditions.
Responsibilities
- Complete physician-ordered assignments and provide routine treatments
- Assess changes in patient health status and perform various treatments
- Administer medications and document all care meticulously to ensure continuity among nursing staff, physicians, and treatment teams
- Record vital signs and assist patients with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, dressing)
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN license
- Degree from an accredited nursing program
- BLS Certification
- Eighteen months of recent experience in a Long-Term Care setting
- Additional facility-specific requirements may apply
Schedule
- 13-week assignment starting 09/14/2026
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour night shifts
