About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Long-Term Care Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients. This position offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and is classified as a travel role.

Responsibilities

• Provide extended care to patients with disabilities, progressive or chronic illnesses, or those needing assistance with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, dressing).
• Record vital signs and administer medications.
• Assess changes in patient health status and perform various treatments.
• Complete assignments made by physicians and provide routine treatment.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care among nursing staff, physicians, and other treatment team members.
• Stay well-versed in a broad range of medical conditions relevant to long-term care.

Requirements

• Active RN or LPN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS Certification.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in a Long-Term Care setting.
• Additional facility-specific requirements may apply.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Weekly payment estimates include a gross estimate of hourly wages and reimbursements for meal, incidental, and housing expenses.
