About the role
The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in alignment with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. This role requires critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and the ability to plan and deliver safe patient care effectively.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and clinical competencies in patient care.
- Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
- Provide direction and supervision to personnel delivering patient care.
- Maintain competency through ongoing education and training.
Schedule
- Full-time, 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts, days (07:00 to 19:30)
Requirements
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association).
- Experience with ventilators and tracheostomy care.
- LTAC experience in a hospital setting.
- Valid Ohio RN or multi-state RN license.
