Travel LTAC Med Surg Tele RN - $1,730 per week

About the role

TotalMed is seeking a Registered Nurse for a travel nursing opportunity in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility in Spartanburg, SC. This 13-week assignment involves 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform head-to-toe assessments and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer IV medications, manage central lines, and monitor vital signs and lab results
• Provide ventilator and tracheostomy care, as well as advanced wound management
• Collaborate with respiratory therapists, physicians, and case managers for ongoing treatment plans
• Support patients with mobility, hygiene, and nutritional needs
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs, ensuring proper patient care delivery
• Adhere to strict infection control protocols and facility safety standards
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and communicate patient status updates
• Document all care activities and interventions accurately and in real time
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge planning

Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent experience in a Long-Term Acute Care or similar high acuity setting
• Current BLS certification
• Eligible for State licensure
• Additional certifications (ACLS, NIH) may be required before beginning the assignment
