Travel Long Term Care Registered Nurse - $2,260 per week

About the role

This position is based in a healthcare facility specializing in long-term patient care. The role involves providing skilled nursing care to a diverse patient population, including those with respiratory failure, post-surgical needs, wound care, IV antibiotics, post cerebrovascular accident (CVA), and post trauma recovery. The candidate will work night shifts, ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients with respiratory failure, post-surgical recovery, wound management, IV antibiotics, post CVA, and post trauma, including cardiac patients.
• Work night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Float to ICU or Acute Rehabilitation units as needed.
• Utilize electronic medical record systems, telemonitoring, and respiratory equipment such as vents, Cpap, BiPap, and high flow devices.

Requirements

• Active Illinois nursing license or application process initiated.
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
• ACLS (American Heart Association) certification preferred.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience.
• Reliable transportation.

Schedule

• Nights, 12-hour shifts.
• Minimum 36 hours per week.

Additional Information

• Orientation includes classroom training as per facility policy and two shifts on the unit with a preceptor.
• Scrubs are provided; appropriate uniform dress code applies.
