Travel Long Term Care Registered Nurse - $2,165 per week

Job Summary

Long Term Care (LTC) Nurse in a skilled nursing setting with a focus on providing comprehensive patient care. The position is located in a facility offering short‑term and long‑term residential care, with responsibilities including medication administration and unit‑specific duties.

Schedule

Dayshift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, 10‑hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and provide comprehensive patient care on both short‑term/CBRF and long‑term units.
• Work on two units: a 12‑bed unit for short‑term and CBRF residents, and a 20‑bed unit for long‑term residents.
• Collaborate with a team that includes three aides and two nurses per shift.
• Maintain clean, work‑appropriate scrubs.
• Participate in float rotations to short‑term, long‑term, and Community‑Based Residential Facility (CBRF) units as needed.
• Be on call for low‑census hours with a minimum call‑back of 2 hours.
• Comply with mandatory flu‑season vaccination; wear a mask if unvaccinated.

Qualifications

• Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least 2 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) long‑term care setting.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

Additional Information

The contract is eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low‑census hours. Float rotation may be required across short‑term, long‑term, and CBRF units. During flu season, vaccination is mandatory; unvaccinated travelers must wear masks.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
