The RN utilizes nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation processes to support residents' health, safety, and well-being. The role emphasizes resident advocacy, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and adherence to professional standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for residents
- Supervise and evaluate Certified Nursing Assistants
- Coordinate discharge planning
- Ensure documentation reflects compliance with CMS regulations and Medicare skilled criteria
- Demonstrate competence in technical skills and managing urgent/emergent situations
- Provide education to residents and families
Requirements
- Valid license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN)
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum 0 years of experience required
Schedule
- 12-hour day shifts
- 36 hours per week
