Travel Long Term Care Registered Nurse - $1,945 per week
Job Summary
Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a geriatric long-term care facility. This assignment involves providing skilled nursing care to an elderly population, including residents with dementia and behavioral health conditions. The role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with structured shift schedules and specific training sessions.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, from 36 to 40 hours per week, with every other weekend and holiday shifts included.
- Shift times: Day shift approximately 1:23 or 1:45.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- EMR: PCC (Point Click Care).
- Orientation: Location-specific, including training, tour, competencies, and shadowing opportunities.
- Common diagnoses include dementia and behavioral health conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and paranoia, with managed medication plans.
- On-call or callback are not available.
- A cancellation fee of $500 applies for clinicians who back out or quit with less than 14 days notice.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
- BSN preferred
- Experience in geriatrics or long-term care highly preferred
- Located within an 80-mile radius of the placement site
Preferred Qualifications
- Geriatric psychiatric experience or long-term care psychiatric background is preferred.
