About the role
CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Long Term Care (LTC) Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment starting July 10, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech language therapy services to patients in a long-term care facility setting.
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct evaluations and progress assessments to monitor patient improvement.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Maryland.
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities preferred.
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations related to speech therapy services.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Passing score on the Praxis II exam or equivalent.
- Current CPR certification.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills in speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Proficiency in computer software used in healthcare settings.
