Travel Long Term Care (LTC) Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,390 per week

About the role

The client in Downs, Kansas is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week contract position starting as soon as possible. The position requires 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve their mobility and strength.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans in medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive patient care plans.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Kansas.
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a long-term care setting.
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
