About the role

CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Long Term Care (LTC) Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Portland, Oregon.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional patient care in a LTC/SNF setting
  • Work 40 hours per week, 8 hours per shift
  • Assist licensed physical therapists in providing treatment and rehabilitation services
  • Perform tasks such as positioning patients, administering treatments, and assisting with mobility

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Oregon
  • Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility settings preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a recognized Physical Therapy Assistant program
  • Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)

Skills

  • Proficient in using medical equipment and devices
  • Knowledge of patient care protocols and safety standards
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. The estimated weekly payment is intended for informational purposes and includes hourly wages, as well as reimbursements for meal & incidental expenses, and housing expenses incurred on behalf of the Company. Any benefits (medical/dental/vision) are in addition to the weekly pay.
