About the role
CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Long Term Care (LTC) Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Hutchinson, Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care in a LTC/SNF setting
- Work 40 hours per week, 8 hours per shift
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
- Perform tasks such as assisting patients with mobility, positioning, and transfers
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Kansas
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a recognized Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
Skills
- Proficient in using medical terminology and documentation systems
- Knowledge of long-term care and rehabilitation principles
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills

Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
