About the role
CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Long Term Care (LTC) Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in St Francis, Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care in a LTC/SNF setting
- Work 40 hours per week, 8 hours per shift
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing treatment to patients
- Perform tasks such as positioning, transferring, and ambulation assistance
- Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare providers
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Kansas
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a recognized Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in computer systems and documentation software
- Knowledge of long-term care and/or skilled nursing facility protocols

Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
