Travel Long Term Care (LTC) Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,390 per week

About the role

The client in Wayne, New Jersey is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week contract position starting immediately. The position is for a Day shift and requires 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
• Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve their mobility and strength
• Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers as needed
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatment sessions

Requirements

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or related field
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Passing scores on relevant licensing exams
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to travel within the United States

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Day shift, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.
