About the role
CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Long Term Care (LTC) Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting August 2, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistance to patients in long-term care facilities.
- Assist with patient assessments, treatments, and discharge planning.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
- Experience in long-term care settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Passing scores on relevant licensing exams.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel to various locations within Illinois.
Skills

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
