About the role

A travel Long Term Care (LTC) Occupational Therapist is needed for a 13-week contract starting July 24, 2026, working 40 hours per week on a 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a long-term care setting.
  • Assess patients' functional abilities and develop treatment plans to promote independence and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with families and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

  • Current license to practice occupational therapy in California.
  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy.
  • Experience in long-term care settings preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Passing score on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software used in healthcare settings.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. The estimated weekly payment is intended for informational purposes and includes hourly wages, as well as reimbursements for meal & incidental expenses, and housing expenses incurred on behalf of the Company. Any benefits (medical/dental/vision) are in addition to the weekly pay.

Schedule

8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
