About the role

CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Long Term Care (LTC) Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting August 2, 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a long-term care facility setting.
  • Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans to promote independence and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with families and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

  • Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of Illinois.
  • At least two years of recent, relevant clinical experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
  • Passing score on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.

Skills

  • Proficient in using medical software and documentation systems.
  • Knowledge of long-term care facilities and their regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with assistive technology and adaptive equipment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

We are looking for a healthcare professional who is ready to provide exceptional patient care in this contract/travel role. Shifts are typically 8 hours per day.
