About the role
Average weekly pay: Estimate of $2,720 (based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a long-term care facility setting.
- Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans to promote independence and quality of life.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with families and other healthcare providers.
Requirements
- Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of Oregon.
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
- At least one year of recent, relevant work experience in a long-term care facility.
- Experience working with patients with complex medical conditions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Passing score on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations related to long-term care facilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
