About the role
A travel Long Term Care (LTC) Occupational Therapist is needed for a 13-week contract starting July 10, 2026, working 40 hours per week in the days shift.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a long-term care facility setting.
- Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans to promote independence and quality of life.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare providers.
Requirements
- Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of Mississippi.
- At least 1 year of recent relevant experience in long-term care settings.
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Skills
- Proficiency in using medical software and documentation systems.
- Experience with fall prevention and pressure ulcer care.
- Knowledge of assistive technology and adaptive equipment.

Pay
