About the role
TRS Healthcare is seeking a travel Long Term Acute Care Speech Language Pathologist for a position in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech language pathology services to patients in a long term acute care setting.
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Nevada.
- Experience working in long term acute care settings preferred.
- Knowledge of clinical procedures and techniques relevant to speech language pathology.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology preferred.
- Passing score on the Praxis II exam or equivalent certification.
Skills
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in computer software relevant to the healthcare field.

Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
