About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Long Term Acute Care Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting immediately in Augusta, Maine.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients in a long-term acute care setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient care activities and progress in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Maine.
- Experience in long-term acute care settings preferred.
- Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
- Current CPR certification.

Schedule
Shift: 8 hours, days
