About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Long Term Acute Care Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting immediately in Augusta, Maine.

Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy services to patients in a long-term acute care setting.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient care activities and progress in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Maine.
  • Experience in long-term acute care settings preferred.
  • Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
  • Current CPR certification.
