Travel Licensed Social Worker (LSW)

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments
• Counsel patients and families on emotional, social, and financial issues
• Facilitate post-discharge referrals
• Act as a liaison among patients, families, and staff
• Evaluate service effectiveness
• Aid in difficult adjustments to illness or treatment
• Supervise students or new staff (when required)

Requirements

• Preferred: Hospital experience, LMSW license, trauma expertise
• Necessary: Strong communication, interviewing, and crisis management skills
• Necessary: BLS certification
• Necessary: Pharmacology knowledge
• Necessary: Completed skills checklist for onboarding
