Travel Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Job

About the role

A licensed practical nurse (LPN) travel assignment in East Montpelier, Vermont. The start date is August 24, 2026, for a weeks-duration travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments within scope of practice
• Monitor vital signs, assess health status, and document changes in appropriate records
• Support behavioral health interventions and maintain safety, including de-escalation when needed
• Assist with care planning and implementation of individualized plans based on resident needs
• Maintain infection prevention protocols and ensure resident safety in daily care activities

Requirements

• Active LPN license in Vermont (or eligibility for licensure in Vermont)
• Ability to work the listed shift and travel assignment schedule (school-day timing)
• Strong documentation and interpersonal communication skills
• Comfort working in mental health, developmental disability, and substance abuse treatment settings
• Commitment to adhering to facility policies, safety standards, and standard nursing practices
