Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long Term Care Job
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and document administration accurately in the resident records
- Monitor residents for changes in condition; report findings to the supervising RN and collaborate on care plans
- Provide routine nursing care, including vital signs, wounds, catheter care, assistance with activities of daily living, and mobility support
- Perform ongoing assessments, update care plans, and document care interventions and resident responses in the charting system
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, person-centered care and communicate changes or concerns promptly
- Maintain infection control practices, patient safety, and privacy standards in accordance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license (state of New Mexico or valid multi-state/compact license)
- Graduation from an approved LPN program (diploma or associate degree)
- Ability to perform 12-hour shift duties in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment at a temporary facility location
