Travel Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)

About the role

Provide behavioral health services in a correctional healthcare setting, including assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and clinical support. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and correctional staff to ensure appropriate patient care and discharge planning. Supervise interns or volunteers as needed and maintain accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations

• Develop treatment plans
• Participate in team meetings
• Perform psychological testing if assigned

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or related field, with active NY State license (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or Psychologist)
• Strong communication skills required
• PREFERRED: Experience includes mental health assessment and treatment of adults, crisis intervention, working with severe mental illness, substance use treatment, and correctional or inpatient psychiatric settings
