Travel Labor & Delivery RN in Dothan, Alabama

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients throughout labor and serve as the primary point of contact for family members
• Monitor the baby’s heart rate and provide immediate care to the newborn
• Perform phlebotomy, basic IV, and central lines
• Assess and record maternal vital signs throughout labor and post-partum stages
• Administer pain medication and other medicines as ordered
• Educate and support new mothers and families on infant care
