Travel Labor & Delivery RN

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to provide compassionate patient care during labor and postpartum.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs throughout labor and post-partum stages
• Providing immediate newborn care and assessing their condition
• Administering pain medications and other prescribed treatments
• Performing procedures such as phlebotomy, IV therapy, and managing central lines
• Offering education and emotional support to new mothers and families on infant care

Requirements

• Current nursing license with experience in labor and delivery
• Knowledge of maternal and neonatal care protocols
• Strong assessment, communication, and patient support skills
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively in high-pressure situations
