About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment starting immediately.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for laboring mothers and newborns in a hospital setting.
- Assist physicians during childbirth and monitor the progress of labor.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor vital signs and ensure patient comfort.
- Document patient care and communicate effectively with other healthcare providers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of New Mexico.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience in Labor and Delivery preferred.
Qualifications
- Passport required for international travel.
- Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of postpartum care and neonatal care.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 12 hours long, nights only.
