About the role
Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Hazard, Kentucky.
Responsibilities
- Work across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units.
- Must have recent experience in Labor & Delivery (L&D), Postpartum (PP), and Nursery.
- Experience with Meditech EMR is required.
- Traveler will be expected to work 48 hours per week, 12 hours shifts, nights.
- Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to qualify.
- Every other weekend is required.
- Orientation is conducted bi-weekly.
- Standard schedule is 36/48 hours over a two-week pay period, staffing ratios may fluctuate based on patient census and operational needs.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of current Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience in a Level I acute care hospital.
- Recent experience in Labor & Delivery (L&D), Postpartum (PP), and Nursery.
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
- AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification
- Active Kentucky RN License or Compact (Multistate) RN License
Qualifications
- Must have recent experience in Labor & Delivery (L&D), Postpartum (PP), and Nursery.
- Experience with Meditech EMR is required.
