Responsibilities

• Work in labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum settings
• Provide care in a fast-paced, collaborative maternal and neonatal environment
• Administer medications including glucose, magnesium, pitocin, and insulin

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Valid Iowa RN or Compact RN license
• At least two years of recent labor and delivery experience
• 24 months of Labor & Delivery / L&D experience (required)
• Travel experience within the last 15 months (required)
• EPIC experience (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA or ARC
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• STABLE certification
• Intermediate or Advanced electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) certification
• Medication administration experience: glucose, magnesium, pitocin, insulin

Preferred Qualifications

• Nursery / Mother-Baby experience
• Post Partum experience
• NICU experience
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Travel experience
• Professional reference from within 24 months (charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO)

Pay

Pay Rate: $2976.00 – $3129.00 (based on 12-hour shifts and 48.0 hours per week, with tax-free stipend amount to be determined).
