Travel Labor & Delivery RN - $2,972 per week

About the role

Join AMN Healthcare as a Travel Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery in Kirkland, WA. You will provide exceptional, compassionate care to expectant mothers in a facility that offers advanced pregnancy and birth services. The assignment is a 13‑week travel position starting on 10/12/2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients, including high‑volume deliveries.
• Circulate in the delivery room and assist with postpartum care as needed.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) for documentation and communication.
• Collaborate with the obstetrics team to ensure safe and efficient deliveries.
• Maintain strong communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff.

Requirements

• Active RN license (Compact accepted).
• Minimum 2 years experience in Labor & Delivery.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification.
• Current NRP (AHA) certification.
• Certification in Fetal Heart Monitoring (CERT‑FHM).
• Experience with high‑volume deliveries (approximately 2,500–4,700 deliveries per year).
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Strong communication and patient‑care skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Recent experience with high‑volume deliveries.
• Comfort with floating to postpartum as needed.
• Intermediate or advanced fetal heart monitoring (FHM) skills.
• OB tech experience.

Pay

Pay rate: $2,898.00 – $3,046.00 per week (subject to confirmation). Includes a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

• Shift: 12‑hour nights.
• Hours: 36 hours per week.
• Duration: 13 weeks.
