About the role
Start Date: 10/19/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts. Employment type: Travel. Located on the shore of Lake Michigan in Saint Joseph, MI, offering small‑town living with outdoor recreation (fishing, boating, swimming) and cultural events such as the Krasl Art Fair and Blossomtime Festival.
Responsibilities
Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and Michigan state law. Demonstrates competency through the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, evaluation). Upholds ANA standards of professional performance including ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence‑based practice and research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health. Strives to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with Labor & Delivery experience: 2 years
- Current RN license in Michigan (RN‑MI)
- Required certifications (copies needed): BLS‑AHA, ACLS‑AHA, NRP‑AHA, Advanced FHM, STABLE
- SSN and date of birth required
- Two professional references from the last 36 months
- Ability to care for mother‑baby couplets, act as second nurse in delivery for newborn care, and recover C‑section patients

Pay
Pay rate: $2,550.00 – $2,681.00 per week (based on 12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week; tax‑free stipend amount to be determined).
