About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment at Parkridge East Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Responsibilities
- Perform cervical exams, IUPC and FSE placement, vaginal deliveries, IV starts with lab draws, circulating cesarean sections, and recovering cesarean sections (usually with spinal anesthesia but general anesthesia occasionally).
- Document using Meditech and Centricity.
- Work 3 shifts per week, with potential to work additional days or evenings during the winter holidays.
- May be eligible to float to Mother Baby, though this is not frequent.
- Must adhere to the hospital's floating policy.
Requirements
- 2+ years of L&D experience, preferably including 1 or more travel contracts.
- Advanced skills: NRP, ACLS, BLS, AWHONN intermediate fetal monitoring.
- Must have the appropriate certifications: AWHONN intermediate fetal heart monitoring, NRP, ACLS, BLS.
Qualifications
Must be licensed to practice in Tennessee and have a current BLS certification.
