About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Mayfield, Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including infection control measures.
• Perform routine patient assessments and document findings accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Participate in rounds and interdisciplinary team meetings.

Requirements

• Current licensure as an RN in the state of Kentucky.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience in labor and delivery or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of obstetric care and newborn care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Passport required for international assignments.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
