About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, in Florence, Alabama.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional, compassionate, and timely care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Assist physicians during deliveries and monitor fetal heart tones.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain accurate medical records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Alabama.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience in Labor and Delivery preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of obstetric procedures and protocols.

- Proficiency in electronic health record systems.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
