About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Labor and Delivery unit in Austin, Texas. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in a Level IV unit and demonstrate excellent patient care in high-volume settings. You'll work collaboratively with a team of 150 staff, ensuring optimal care for patients. This is a 13-week contract position with a schedule of 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, including alternating weekends and no call requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to laboring women during deliveries.
• Perform C-Section circulation and support during various procedures.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and manage EFM effectively.
• Maintain adherence to unit policies and protocols.

Requirements

• RN license required.
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Competency in SVE and internal monitor placement is preferred.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
