About the role
Hospital in Austin, Texas is in need of Labor and Delivery RNs for a 13-week travel assignment. The position requires 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and a current state license with at least 2 years recent experience in Labor and Delivery.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Assist physicians during childbirth and monitor labor progress.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical staff.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Current state license.
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in Labor and Delivery.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates should possess excellent communication skills, strong teamwork abilities, and the ability to work independently under pressure. Experience with Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) care is a plus.
