Travel Labor & Delivery RN - $1,686 per week

About the role

Hospital in North Carolina is looking for a travel Labor & Delivery nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the labor and delivery unit.
• Assist physicians during deliveries.
• Monitor and manage maternal and neonatal health.
• Administer medications and treatments as necessary.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as an RN, including travel.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current licensure to practice as an RN in the state of North Carolina.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of labor and delivery procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

Skills

• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Knowledgeable in postpartum care and newborn care.
• Ability to handle emergencies and critical situations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
