About the role
Hospital in North Carolina is looking for a travel Labor & Delivery nurse.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the labor and delivery unit.
- Assist physicians during deliveries.
- Monitor and manage maternal and neonatal health.
- Administer medications and treatments as necessary.
- Document patient progress and interventions accurately.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as an RN, including travel.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current licensure to practice as an RN in the state of North Carolina.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of labor and delivery procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
Skills
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Knowledgeable in postpartum care and newborn care.
- Ability to handle emergencies and critical situations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Schedule
36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, nights.
