The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. Job Details Position Description: Responsible for caring for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns; performing triage and non-stress tests (NSTs); serving as second nurse during deliveries; managing overflow patients; and supporting patients with pregnancy, birth, or recovery complications. Occasionally floats to medical/surgical, critical care units, or emergency room to assist. Certifications: Must hold Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), STABLE, and Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate or above) certifications. Education Requirements / Certifications / Degree Requirements / Location Requirements / Years of Experience: None specified beyond certifications; minimum of 1 year of experience. Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week. Additional Information: Must be labor-trained; willing to be placed on-call up to 3 times per 13-week contract if needed; experience in a high-volume obstetrics setting is preferred.
