About the role

Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and newborn throughout the childbirth process.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of both mother and newborn.
  • Function in a fast-paced environment with critical decision-making and clinical skills.

Requirements

  • One (1) year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in Labor and Delivery.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, certification, and registration in the state where care is provided.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (ANRP) certification.

Qualifications

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field.
  • Five (5) or more years of recent experience, specifically in Labor and Delivery, within the last two (2) years.
  • One (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years.
  • High-Risk Obstetrics (OB) experience.

Schedule

  • Start Date: 08/31/2026
  • End Date: 12/05/2026
  • Evening shifts, 12 hours per day, minimum 36 hours per week.
