About the role
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (Soldotna, Alaska)
Responsibilities
- Provides individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and facility policies and standards of nursing practice.
- Manages patient care for the Labor and Delivery / Recovery / Postpartum (LDRP) setting.
- Supports fetal monitoring needs.
- Collaborates to ensure safe, patient-centered outcomes.
Requirements
- Active Alaska state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
- STABLE (STABLE).
- High School AED (HS AED).
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring.
- Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP experience.
- Able to float to over units/departments as needed.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Nights (12 hours shifts) with a minimum of 36 hours per week; on-call as needed and must follow unit procedures.
