Job Summary

Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position in Mauston, Wisconsin. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care for maternal and newborn patients. Schedule

• Night shifts
• 12 hours per shift
• Minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Two-year degree in nursing
• Wisconsin Registered Nursing license
• BLS certification within 1 month of hire
• NRP certification within 6 months of hire
• STABLE certification within 1 year of hire
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification within 1 year of hire

Essential Responsibilities

• Completing initial nursing histories
• Assessing patients' conditions
• Developing individualized care plans
• Triaging care
• Administering medications
• Managing labor progression
• Dealing with obstetric emergencies
• Performing fetal heart monitoring
• Managing pregnancy-related concerns
• Assessing newborns
• Performing neonatal resuscitation
• Recognizing neonatal sepsis
• Monitoring for adverse events
• Providing patient education
• Communicating with the care team
• Performing additional duties as requested

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in maternal and neonatal care
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency with nursing equipment and electronic health records

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
