Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - $2,580 per week

About the role

Labor and Delivery Nurse, specializing in maternal and newborn care, is responsible for providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of compassionate, high-quality patient care in an inpatient setting. This role involves utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure optimal outcomes for patients and their families, while effectively communicating pertinent information to the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Formulate effective nursing care plans within the Labor and Delivery department.
• Perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Requirements

• Available to start on 10/27/2026 and work through 01/23/2027, with up to one week of requested time off at the start.
• Float rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification.
• At least 2 years of recent inpatient Labor & Delivery experience.
• NRP certification.
• Epic experience.
• OBIX experience.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 12‑hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
