Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - $2,526 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a travel nursing assignment in Des Moines, Iowa.

About the Role

This assignment lasts 13 weeks and is scheduled to start on August 17, 2026. The shift is 12-hour nights with a total of 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Experience in Labor & Delivery (required)
• Antepartum, C-section/vaginal delivery experience (required)
• EPIC EMR experience (required)
• Recent/current Labor & Delivery experience in work history (required)
• Completed at least one travel assignment in the previous 12 months (no first-time travelers) (required)
• Intermediate or Advanced Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) / AWHONN certificate (required)
• Experience in Postpartum/mother-baby care (preferred)
• Current/recent high-risk OB experience in a Level II trauma facility (required)
• Current/recent high-risk OB experience in a Level I trauma facility (highly preferred)
• Professional reference from a charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO within the last 24 months (preferred)

Certifications & Licensure

• AHA/American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) (required)
• AHA/American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (required)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certificate (required)
• AWHONN certificate (required)
• Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate license at time of submission (required)
