Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - $2,290 per week

About the role

Provide specialized nursing care in a Labor and Delivery department, focusing on maternal and newborn services. This includes caring for postpartum patients, well‑baby newborns, and actively participating in labor and delivery procedures such as cesarean sections and couplet care.

Responsibilities

• Skilled in labor and delivery
• Circulating cesarean sections
• Postpartum care
• Caring for well‑baby newborns
• Familiar with couplet care
• Experience with scrubbing and assisting in cesarean sections (ideal but not mandatory)

Requirements

• Valid RN licensure
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NRP certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery or a similar maternal‑child health setting
• Prior travel experience in this specialty

Schedule

• Night shifts, 12 hours (7 PM – 7 AM)
• Minimum 36 hours per week
• At least four weekend shifts per six‑week schedule, including holidays such as Labor Day
• May involve working over 20 weeks postpartum and caring for post‑op gynecology patients

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
