About the role
Travel Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse position in a Level 2 OB and Level 2 nursery unit. Responsibilities include providing high-quality prenatal, labor, postpartum, and nursery care. The role involves circulating in obstetric operating rooms, triaging out of labor beds, and supporting postpartum and special care nursery patients.
The unit features 8 labor beds, 12 postpartum rooms, 4 special care nursery beds, and 1 obstetric operating room.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality prenatal, labor, postpartum, and nursery care
- Circulate in obstetric operating rooms
- Triage patients out of labor beds
- Support postpartum and special care nursery patients
Requirements
- Licensure verification
- Nursys license
- Driver’s license or state ID
- Professional profile
- Two professional references
- At least 1 year of experience in L&D
- Ascension resume and professional license verification submission
Schedule
- Day shift, 12-hour shifts
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
