Job Details

• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid registered nurse license
• Minimum of 1-year current acute care postpartum experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Ability to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Obstetrics (OB) experience
• Medical-surgical (med-surg) experience
• Gynecology (GYN) experience

Unit Information

• Number of beds: 29
• Staffing: 20 staff members, including 1 charge nurse per shift and 2-4 RNs
• Patient ratios: 4-6:1
• Equipment: Welch Allen vitals machines, CPN monitors, point-of-care glucose monitoring
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech / CPN
• Typical procedures: Post-operative gynecological surgeries, urogynecology surgeries, ectopic pregnancies, high-risk pregnancies (PPROM, preeclampsia, previa, preterm labor), fetal monitoring (non-stress tests), postpartum/post-surgical obstetric care, readmitted postpartum complications

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
