Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - $2,040 per week

Job Summary

This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care in a perinatal setting, demonstrating independence and awareness of clinical protocols. The nurse will administer routine and complex care, collaborate with the healthcare team, and support patient education and emotional needs.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, days from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, totaling at least 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing;
• current certification from one of the following: AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM);
• BLS certification (AHA only);
• NRP certification;
• ACLS certification (AHA only);
• RN License in the state of Texas or a compact license;
• 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty.

Additional Responsibilities

• Provide nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitor for side effects, and document patient information.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers, and address their psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.

Position Requirements

• Newly hired experienced RNs must attend a New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.
• Precepted by trained staff, with successful completion of onboarding and competency validations.
