Travel Labor and Delivery RN

About the role

This position is for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse responsible for providing prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care. The role emphasizes providing high-quality patient care and supporting mothers through childbirth and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fetal health
• Assist with childbirth
• Manage complications during labor and delivery
• Administer medications
• Guide new mothers in recovery and infant care

Requirements

• Current Missouri Nursing License
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• 1-2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience

Qualifications

Preferred certifications include AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) and STABLE (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood pressure, Lab work, Emotional support).

Schedule

This position involves working 12-hour day shifts for a total of 48 hours per week.

Pay

Compensation ranges from $2,428 to $2,643 weekly.
